Movie Reviews Part 3

St. Trinian’s
I picked up the movie from the cheap bin at Blockbuster because it had Colin Firth in it. This movie is like a car wreck that you just can’t look away from… It’s got some big names in it, and is set in an English boarding school, but Rupert Everett in drag as Colin Firth’s love interest was just a bit too weird for me! It was hysterically terrible.

Killers
This was a great, fun date movie. Romantic, yet with enough explosions to keep the guys happy. Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl were fun to watch as a former spy and his ‘normal’ wife. Of course, his old spy life comes back to haunt him, and they’re on the run. I would definitely watch this one again.

Karate Kid
Like Colin Firth, I’ll watch pretty much anything with Jackie Chan in it. I was a bit sceptical about Jayden Smith because of his famous connection perhaps buying him premature fame, but he was actually really good. I haven’t seen the original Karate Kid, so I can’t compare the two, but I thought this one was really good, and I liked it a lot.

How to Train Your Dragon
Such a cute movie! This one is definitely on my ‘to buy’ list. Toothless, the dragon, reminded me so strongly of a cat – the animation was fabulous, and the plot was really enjoyable, and I thought it was unique. I highly recommend watching this one ASAP!

Double-Take

Does this not remind you of an Ewok on a speeder bike? That's sure what it made me think of... :)
