Last week Trevor and I had the opportunity to go to California for a few days. Our church sent us to a youth leaders' conference near LA, and we jumped at the chance. We went down on Wednesday, and had the afternoon and evening to spend at Newport Beach, which was just lovely. After five minutes of smelling the salt and listening to the waves, I was a whole new person; all the stress of last semester just melted away. :) The conference started Thursday morning and went to Saturday lunchtime, and then we went back to Newport for the rest of the day. Sunday we actually took a rare day of rest and headed home in the afternoon. It was excellent! More about the conference to come later...for now, here are our photos!
